Client FAQs//

While I’ve learned that every client that walks through our doors is totally different, I’ve also learned that many of them have a tendency to ask the same questions before deciding to choose LainLee3Design for their project.  I don’t mind answering these same questions for every new client of course, it gives me the opportunity to fine tune my responses and learn more about our clients.  And it also gives me the opportunity to share some of those Frequently Asked Questions with you for your general edification and knowledge.

1. ) How long will it take to complete my project?

Really this depends on a few different factors.  The first factor is our current workload: LainLee3Design will never take on a project if we don’t have the time to give it our full attention and invest our full creative energy into it.  That cheapens the work, and we at LainLee3Design do not believe in delivering anything but the best in quality design.  This means that if you have a tight deadline for a rather large project, it’s probably best to either try to push that deadline back or scale down the scope of your project, because rushed deadlines mean rushed work, and rushed work means poor quality!

The second factor is your time frame as the client: As stated earlier, deadlines mean a lot to design firms.  It helps us budget our time and tells us how and where to focus our efforts.  The tighter the deadline and shorter the time frame, the harder it is to deliver quality results.  At LainLee3Design we require at least a month’s notice in advance for many of the larger projects we take on, and at least two weeks’ notice for the more general jobs.  But again, this is contingent upon our current workload.

And finally, there is the factor of communication: open communication is a big deal to us, and we expect all of our clients to approach a project with the same level of professionalism when it comes to maintaining open and consistent communication.  If we as a design firm are having to track down our clients and constantly stay on top of them for feedback, then we have failed as a company in properly establishing a precedent of open and consistent communication.  We would not expect our clients to put up with our inability to communicate effectively as professionals, so we try to adhere to the same expectations of our clients.  That being said, if you as a client are able to maintain open and consistent communication, respond to emails and provide feedback in a timely manner, process payments on time, and review proofs promptly, the entire design process as a whole will generally move along more efficiently, meaning you’ll see results much faster.

2. ) How can I make a payment for my project?

We accept payments via PayPal and Square.  To process your secure payment via PayPal, send your payment to payments@lainlee3design.com or if you received your invoice via email, you should have the ability to pay with PayPal through your invoice.  We also accept secure, cardless payments with Square, a new revolutionary way to pay with or without your credit card for the iPhone and iPad.  If using Square, you will need to provide us with your credit card info.  All information shared with LainLee3Design for the purpose of processing payments will remain confidential and is never shared with any third party.
